Which comment? I haven’t deleted any of your comments. This is your last
comment: “I lost weight the opposite way of this actually, only 80 lbs
though. I’m 9% body fat now though. Bet I have more stretch marks still. ”
What did you want me to say? I am happy you can lose your way, but I lost
    well my way.

Thanks for the update, I will try that way once. I like knowing that it
    will work.

Is there any replacements for coconut flour or can someone tell me where I
    could find some?

  • Kent Altena 3 years ago

Congrats on the losses, and I am just glad I can help you lose and keep
    your diet interesting.

Cream is allowed on Induction. Cream cheese would not work the same way.

I grind my own coconut flour. Just take raw coconut in a coffee grinder or
food processor, and grind it for 30-60 seconds. Check out my video called
“How to grind your own nut flour” for exactly how to do it.

I have a body fat percentage in the lower teens and during marathon
training in the athletic range. As for reasonable or natural, let’s compare
to animals. Do animals eat meat, drink milk (mammals), or eggs? Using
bears, snakes, dogs, tigers, cats as examples they sure do. Comparing
digestive systems, ours is remarkable similar to bears and what do they
typically eat. As for slaughter animals who scream and feel bad, take your
emotion some place else. Ration and reason, your diatribe isn’t.

@rashmidgupta why would fried foods increase your weight? It is simply
cooking via a different method and doesn’t affect the nutritional makeup of
the food at all except sealing in additional moisture.

I started atkins induction on Dec 27 2012 and have so far lost between
10-15 lbs. After next Friday Feb 7 my intention is to start owl. This
recipe I’m definitely going to try. Thank you! 😉

It’ll work, but IMO won’t taste as well… I would just use grated Parmesan

Hi, just watched your video, so excited to try this! I don’t fry typically
so not sure what kind of oil is best to use?

  • likadooa 3 years ago

Why would you eat fried food to lose weight?

  • Kent Altena 3 years ago

Oh the serving size is about 4-5 Chicken Nuggests or roughly 4-5 oz of
chicken. You can certainly have more than that, but it was a good lowest
    common denominator serving size.

@Alex kt They sell Coconut Flower in Walmart. Look where the regular flower
is for sale and you will see small Yellow 1lb bags made by Bobs Red Mill.
It is expensive about $6.50 per bag but you should be able to find it there
if your local grocery chain doesn’t carry it. Also most health/organic food
    stores carry it.

Oh Kent this is AWESOME! I just took out the cocoanut flour because i
couldn’t find it but its great and cheesy with parmesan and spices 😀
I’m a week into Induction and am really glad I can eat something that I
used to love 🙂 Thanks for the advice over the years you’ve been a great

Awesome video bro! I’ve lost over 25lbs on Atkins so far in about a month
and a half. I say this as I’m actually crunching down on some pork rinds!

Ugh.. I wish I was finished Induction now, but I’m starting my first day
tommorow. I have all these leftover quest bars in my house but I think its
best for me to eat them in phase 2 and 3..
