I suffered from acne for years. I spent so much money on skin care for acne
skin and make up products. I finally reduced the acne/inflammation by
    changing my diet.

I had stopped drinking soda two years ago. I used to drink coke/pepsi every
day but I stopped to the point where I don’t even like the taste of them
anymore. I also started eating salad more than I used to. I realized that
the acne that we have on our face and depending where the acnes are
(forehead, cheeks, nose, chin, etc) actually show what’s unhealthy inside
us. So I figured rather than spending hundreds and hundreds of make up
products and skin care products that don’t even work I might as well do
something that can help me reduce my acne.

Right now I still have a pimple every now and then but nothing compare to
how it was awhile ago. I am also using Lush as my skin care products. I
found that the Angels on Bare Skin facial wash is what helped me reduced my
redness and cleared up my acne scars. It cost me about $15 + tax. I also
love their facial mask, BB Seaweed, and it’s only cost me around $6. I used
to wear skin care products that meant to fight acne and they include really
harsh chemicals and I found them to irritate my skin even more. This is why
I love Lush products because they are very gentle on my skin.

So happy that you have cleared up your skin! My skin is clearing up right
now as well, love it! I definitely agree with you about not wearing makeup,
for the past 2 weeks I’ve only worn powder and a tiny bit of concealer and
my skin seems to be loving it! :)

holy moly its amazing that you don’t have scars. I had laser and it healed
a lot of my scars but I still have some.

I struggle with my skin a lot. I’m a chef so on a daily basis my skin is in
such an oily sweaty environment. I use proactive but find its not as
effective as it was two years ago. I’m going to try the products you
suggested. Proactive feels good until the morning it’s oily again. And
clean and clear just drys it too much! So hard to find a system that works
    for me…

I have dry skin as we’ll but every night before bed you should try putting
some Vaseline on over night after you put your moisturizer on. It’s like
locking in the moisture. It works wonders for me and my grandmother has
been using it since she was a teen and now she is 67 years old and looks
    40.
