Thanks for the tip on the blush, I always stayed away from blush because I
didn’t want to look like a clown. I’m going to definitely try the colors
    you suggested! Thanks so much!

Please my ladies of color please try wearing lipstick that goes beyond the
deep brown that looks like you ate brownies for breakfast, lunch, and
dinner lol. If you are going to wear darker lips try doing a light ombre
lip. It gives your lips a better dimension than looking just plain flat.

Another tips is that its okay to use different shades of foundation on
different parts of your face if your completion is two toned

I think that the best tip to have under our belts as women of color is to
feel confident with our makeup choices..which means to experiment with
makeup..bold colors, nude colors, all of that jazz and truly realize that
there is so much we can do with our skin tone. Even if we were to look
spectacular but we did not have the self confidence, our fascade would leak
through. On the other hand, if we have different makeup choices than the
regular woman, but we have our confidence..oir radiance will shine through
and they will embrace our makeup choices. Hope this helps (:

Love this! I’m not a woman of colour but I’ve noticed that most tutorials
out there are aimed at pale-skinned girls, which is just weird. Also, I
agree – woc wear colourful eye shadows BEAUTIFULLY – especially jewel tones
    :P
